Q: Is Nicol Edward's really haunted?
A: Absolutely! We've lost track of the bizarre and freaky things that
have happened, to staff and customers alike…
Q: I'd love to have my birthday party in Nicols - do you hire it
out?
A: We're happy to hire out any or all of Nicol Edward's - we do it
all the time. Just contact us to discuss your requirements.
Q: I'd like to run a regular club night in the Vaults, is that possible?
A: Same as above, we already have several highly successful nights
running. Give us a call or pop in and ask for the duty manager.
Q: Are you looking for musicians?
A: Always. We need to hear you before we book you, so either drop
in a demo or come along to our open mic night every Thursday.
Q: Do you serve food?
A: Not at present, however watch the NEWS page for any changes.
Q: Can the whole family experience Nicol Edward's?
A: Yes, children are allowed in any part of the pub that doesn't have
a bar in it up until 11pm. Unfortunately after that licensing law
doesn't allow under 18's in any part of Nicol Edward's.
Q: I'm a student - is there any discount?
A: Of course! We love students here… just show us your student
card for an automatic 20% off or why not get one of our VIP cards
- in exchange for a couple of details we'll give you your own spangly
VIP card, which gives you a massive 25% off (good, eh?!!!)
Q: Are you looking for staff?
A: We're always keen to expand the Nicol's family, whether full or
part time, so drop off a cv. It's that simple…
Q: Are you open every day?
A: Yep, every day except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and January 1st
(well, we've got to get some sleep!!) from 7.30pm till 3am. Check
out the NEWS page for any late extended hours.
Q: Can I book one of the ghost tours through the pub?
A: You don't need to book for any of the tours, you can just turn
up (with a few exceptions), but if you want to book that's no problem,
just call Auld Reekie Tours on 0131 557 4700, or click on the link
on the LINKS page.
